Built for Intentional Planning

Make thoughtful decisions based on what your students need.

Designed for Participation

Support meaningful student engagement from the start.

The hardest part of planning isn’t finding more activities. It’s figuring out how to make it all work for your students.

You’re balancing IEP goals, curriculum, standards, and students with many different support needs. Bringing all of those pieces together into meaningful instruction isn’t easy. So you keep searching.

You purchase resources...

but they only partially align with your students’ needs.

You adapt materials...

that were never designed for your learners in the first place.

You spend weekends...

creating or adapting resources you may only use once.

I've been there too.

II know what it feels like to be the teacher with limited materials, limited guidance, and the responsibility to make instruction work for every student. The problem was never how hard teachers were working. The problem was that they needed better tools for intentional planning and creating resources for all learners from the start.

Adapted Curriculum Resources Built for Intentional Teaching

Creatively Adapted resources are practical, visually clear, and ready to use. But behind each resource is a deeper purpose: helping teachers make instructional decisions with more confidence.
The goal isn’t just to give teachers more materials. It’s to help them use those materials with purpose.

Trusted by teachers and district leaders…

Why these special education resources hold up in real classrooms

I've done this work from every angle

I started as a special education teacher, then worked as an instructional coach, administrator, district consultant, and university instructor. That experience helps me create resources that work during busy classroom routines while supporting the consistency and strong practice districts need.

These were used long before they were sold

These resources and planning tools grew out of years of work with interns, teachers, and district teams. They’ve been tested in real classrooms, adjusted when something didn’t work, and strengthened through practical feedback.

Standards-based and connected, not isolated

Many resources for students with complex learning and support needs focus on one skill or activity at a time. Creatively Adapted helps teachers connect standards, differentiation, engagement, and curriculum access within larger units of study.

The goal isn’t just more materials. It’s helping teachers make stronger instructional decisions over time.

District Curriculum Resources for Special Education Teams

Districts often invest in programs and materials, only to find that implementation varies widely from classroom to classroom. The challenge isn’t always the curriculum itself. It’s helping teachers use materials consistently and purposefully across planning, differentiation, engagement, and access.
Creatively Adapted offers curriculum resources and planning tools that give special education teams practical materials and a shared instructional approach.

What's available for districts and teams:

Planning & Assessment Tools

Help teachers use a shared process to understand student needs, identify meaningful access points, support engagement, and plan instruction with purpose.

Adapted Curriculum Resources

Designed for special and general education teachers supporting diverse learners across settings.

Flexible Purchasing Options

Bundle pricing, bulk purchasing, and invoice options for schools and districts

Optional Rollout Support

Available with some district packages to help teams plan implementation, build internal capacity, and support consistent use.

The resources are designed to be clear and practical enough for teams to use without ongoing consultation. For districts purchasing larger packages, optional rollout support may be available to help district leads or teacher-leader teams review the materials, clarify implementation questions, and plan for consistent use across classrooms.

I created the resources I wish I had as a teacher.

I started as a special education teacher with IEP goals to address, curriculum expectations to meet, and very few materials to help me connect the two. Like many teachers, I spent hours creating and adapting resources on my own—time that could have been spent teaching, observing students, and planning next steps.

Since then, my work has expanded from the classroom to instructional coaching, special education administration, district consulting, and teaching future educators at the university level.

Through all of those experiences, one thing has stayed consistent: teachers aren’t short on effort. They need practical tools that make instruction more accessible, purposeful, and doable.

That’s what I created Creatively Adapted to provide: resources that help teachers feel more prepared and less overwhelmed while giving students meaningful ways to engage, participate, and show what they know.
